In 1999 we diversified into the Agri-Tourism business where you can experience "Our field of Dreams Come True" with us.Nestled in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, Chickadee Ridge is the largest miniature horse farm in Canada. We are a working farm on 80 picturesque acres just 100 miles North of the USA border. While here you will walk in the pastures with nearly 200 horses, and yes, you will get to "HUG" your favourites. You will also see various birds from tiny Quail and Doves to larger Emus, Pheasants, Peacocks, and Wild Turkeys. You will also have fun with Pot Bellied Pigs, Miniature Cattle, Goats and Sheep as well as feeding our very gracious Fallow Deer. A Wallaby, Snow Monkey, Reptiles and our newest arrival, two beautiful Ring Tailed Lemurs. There is easy access, ample bus, trailer and RV parking. We are open from 10am to 4pm daily from May to October. Groups large and small are welcome. Come and enjoy our farm experience. |
